Sometimes mold was already there ! (from a historic unknown water loss)

SERVPRO was called out to a clean water loss from a busted water pipe that had just happened in the laundry room. 

SERVPRO extracted water, set equipment up and started to remove baseboard when visible mold growth was discovered from what must have been from a another water leak long ago. 

SERVPRO immediately set up a HEPA air filtration device, applied antimicrobial and contained the area off as air tight as possible with 6 mil polyethylene plastic sheeting.

Once the area is contained SERVPRO technicians will will use PPE and preform clean demolition practices I order to help prevent cross contamination. Water damaged debris are bagged and sealed before leaving the contained area. There are no disposal  requirements for moldy debris.
